IoC Defined In Python?
Are you a Python Dev looking to master your infrastructure with IoC?
stelvio.dev is home to an interesting Python package where you can define your restful API routes and DynamoDB tables in Python Code. The syntax almost looks a little like ExpressJS syntax.
FYI: This is AWS-specific; even further, it's just Lamba for now.
Is it the best option? That depends on your use case. It is going to be tough to compete with the bigger better better-funded IoC tools but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its own use cases.
If it came down to a Python dev manually provisioning their infrastructure because they don't want to learn something like Terraform or using Stelvio I would say give Stelvio a shot.
To be completely transparent I don’t have a Python use case so I didn’t get a chance to go hands-on with this one but I do want to show support to indie developers pouring their hearts and souls into these cool little IoC projects. So check it out at your own risk. You might find that you like it.
