Ever wish you could provision infrastructure by writing SQL queries?
I know I have not. But all the same, it is an interesting concept. StackQL ( https://github.com/stackql/stackql ) allows you to spin up infrastructure using an SQL-like syntax. My guess is this is built by old-school DB Admins for Old-School DB Admins. But one thing is for sure: with 627 stars on the GitHub repo, someone is using it.
I doubt I would use it in production, but I am still happy that a diverse range of solutions are being developed.
