Are you ready to knock 2025 out of the park?

Are you ready to knock 2025 out of the park?

Are you ready to knock 2025 out of the park?

If you are thinking about setting big goals for 2025 I have some tips for you.

There is a lot of evidence that writing down your goals has a significant positive impact on the chances you hit them.

Beyond that if you tell others about the actions you plan to take then there is a greater chance you will do them mainly because you don’t want to look like a fool that says one thing then does another. I don’t want to look like a fool so I am going to share my Q1 goals with you.

Taking my own advice I live streamed my 2025 planning session for Schematical.

To keep focused I limited myself to just 3 and here they are:

Goal 1 -  Launch my new Video Course:

This one is a bit tough for me to talk too much about because of who I am partnered with but you should be hearing a lot more about it towards the end of January.

Goal 2 - Add 2 new clients to my consulting Office Hours rotation:

Last year I learned a ton and had a great time working with my current consulting clients to scale their infrastructure up in a cost effective manner. Now it is time to take what I learned and scale it up a notch.

Goal 3 - Launch my coaching community:

This is so I can help people that are not quite ready to go all in on private office hours but still want a little help. This will involve a bunch of live training workshops and something I call “War Games” where we knock over real infrastructure and get to diagnose and fix live. It should be a lot of fun.

Honorable Mentions:

Other honorable mentions include starting a new podcast and the CTOThinkTank.com mastermind group but being as I don’t intend to really profit from those they didn’t make the top three. I have to keep the lights on first then do the fun stuff.

Systems > Goals:

Having goals is great but without a plan and systems to get there then you're just fumbling around in the dark. I would love to share my systems for running my business with you but this post is getting a bit long.

My question to you:

Do you want to hear more about the consulting side of things and the systems I use to run my one man business?

Or would you prefer I keep the daily writing to just technical stuff? Or just the comics?

I would love to hear your thoughts on it so shoot me an email with what topics you want to hear more about.

~Cheers to a great 2025!
