Have you ever experienced a situation where a dev is using an AI tool to game your technical interview?

What is the weirdest interview you have seen since the rise of AI? I am hearing more and more stories about AI tools that, depending on how you look at it, either give developers the edge in an interview or are down right committing fraud.

Personally I think AI is going to be a big part of how we deliver our craft moving forward so use the tools at your disposal.

With that said I am also not a fan of deception on the part of either party(The employer or the employee).

When I stumbled on a SaaS tool that boasted that it was invisible to all screen recorders and was an invisible AI to solve any coding problem I was curious. I’m not going to mention their name here but I would imagine finding these tools isn't too hard.

I’ve never used a tool like this. Partially because the rise of AI came way after the time in my life where I ever might have a technical interview. But I am actually curious how this would play out with something like a Cloud War Game event.

I actually want to throw one of my less AWS savvy friends in the Hot Seat armed with only a handful of LLMs. I would arm them with this particular tool but there is no way I am giving the interview cheating software my money.
