AWS Cost Explorer Resource Level Granularity - Part 2

Would you like to get granular resource level insights into your AWS spend?
I sure did. But it went a little off the rails. Here is what I have learned so far.
It's been a few days since I turned on “Resource-level data at daily granularity” on my AWS account. I only switched it on for CloudWatch because I thought that would make a good demo since the costs I was chasing down for my client were in CloudWatch.
Well the joke is on me. I don’t write enough to CloudWatch logs to incur any costs. The other thing I have a variety of that would be cool to visualize are Lambda functions. But again sadly(depending on how you look at it) I don’t have enough Lambda invocations to rack up any costs.
Not counting my addiction to buying random domains with Route53 which has no discernible pattern, my 2 biggest expenses are 2 NatGateways and 1 Kinesis Stream. So there isn’t really a variety of resources that would make for a cool chart if I turned on granular logging for those 2.
If anyone has a super granular needle in the haystack cost they want help hunting down and would let me record it for content shoot me an email.
