The Process
We want you to be open and honest with us, so we’ll start by being transparent about our hiring process:
Step 1 - Video Resume
Send us a link to a quick 3-minute video of yourself answering the following questions:
- Why are you interested in this position?
- What do you know about our company?
- What is your ideal work environment?
- What are your strengths?
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
Where to send it: Use whichever medium you found this opportunity (e.g., the platform, our website, or one of our social channels).
P.S.: If you’re a vendor trying to sell us services, sending a video like this couldn’t hurt!
Step 2 - Getting to Know You
If your video resonates with us, we'll move to the next step.
Depending on the position, there may be a short skills test to complete. However, if you have a stellar portfolio, we might just ask you to walk us through it in detail so we can understand how you think.
We’ll also ask you to share results from a previous personality test or take one online and send us the results. (No specific personality type is required—we just use this to craft the best possible work environment for you.)
If you already have the results from one feel free just to send that otherwise here is a link to a Free Myers Brigs Personality Test
Step 3 - Interview Time
Next, we’ll set up a short 30-minute interview to get to know each other.
As we grow, this might involve speaking with different team members, but for now, you'll likely be talking directly with Matt.
Step 4 - Paid Dry Run
For the top candidates, we’ll assign a short paid task to evaluate your skills and let you experience working with us.
If it doesn’t work out, no hard feelings—we just go our separate ways. Regardless, assuming you deliver the task, you’ll still get paid even if you don’t move forward in the process.
Step 5 - Hit the Ground Running
If everything works out, we’ll select the best fit for the position and hit the ground running. Let’s build something awesome together!
